Venkat Mangudi Consulting alternates between live projects and skill development projects. SOA, Beanshell, Ubuntu, MySQL, Liferay, Tomcat, Catalina, OpenACS and TCL will not be just buzzwords to you anymore, you will use them everyday. You are not expected to be an expert when you join them, They will make you one! You will work on consulting engagement with their clients. You will need to know PHP, TCL, Python or other scripting languages. Understanding of Data Structures, RDBMS and open source RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL is important. Expertise in Java, Beanshell and Integration is a plus. Articulating and selling Open Source as a concept to the clients is a requirement.

• Associate Consultant: You will have 0 - 2 years of experience and a strong passion for enabling Customers.
• Consultant: You have 3 - 5 years of experience. OpenACS, Data Modeling and experience working with enterprise applications is desirable.
